Turn photo fails into wins using AI

The world of AI in photography has been expanding and developing so fast that it has got to a point where we don't know what is a real photo and what is not. AI photos used to look cartoony and were clear that these were AI images, but these days AI images are photo realistic. It really is a struggle to tell whether a well made AI image is a real photo or not. AI can be used it the wrong way, there are multiple instances of false media being put out into the public. New laws are having to be created to keep up with this fast developing technology as well as governments and tech developers working together to agree the parameters it can be used.

However it can be used to benefit your photos greatly. Anybody who uses Adobe software will know this. They incorporated it not too long ago, I think in the 2023 update perhaps? Many probably use it for the vast majority of their photos these days. But this brings in the question of is it even a photo anymore? If your adding this that were not there and removing things that were there.

AI can be used to remove unwanted aspects of an image and fill in with something that looks like it should fit in to what would have been behind that object. You can add elements that were never there. You can also use it to expand an image and recreate what could have been outside the frame. This is an extremely powerful tool to use and it is so accurate. This is what I have done with two of my photos that I took when learning about photography. I didn't get the framing quite correct and cut off part of what I was photographing. My mistakes in these two photos in particular have always bugged me but I put they on my website and I had to live with my mistakes. But not anymore. Now they are the photos that they should have been in the first place and honestly they just look real. If I showed the photos to another professional photographer I don't think they would be able to say "You have used AI on these". Yes I am still annoyed that I made the mistakes in the first place but now I have changed the photos out on my website and I am happy to just pretend that I took the AI images and won't tell anyone anything different. I definitely won't be admitting to adjusting my mistakes on the internet or anything ;)

Thanks for reading this quick article. See you again.
