This is the wedding of Sophie & Wyn James.
I had previously done their engagement photos the summer of 2019 in Santorini whilst we were there for a friends wedding. Then at Easter the next year was the planned wedding.
However, 2020 may have been a difficult year for all. For this couple, the timings for the lockdowns we have had fell on their wedding dates on two separate occasions. Two times of disappointment and having to reschedule.
But what I found from these two is an overwhelming desire just to be husband and wife. It didn't seem to matter what was thrown in front of them, they just wanted to be married.
So on the 28th of November this year I did the photography for the wedding of Sophie and Wyn James at The Cawdor, Llandeilo.
What a wonderful day it was for all.
It may have not been the big wedding for them that April would have provided but the smiles and joy on their faces were still as big. An intimate wedding with 13 guests, just a close family gathering really. But honestly isn't that what people really want? The people that they truly love around them to see them express their love for one another by getting married.
I think it was a day that everyone there needed. Just to be able to talk to people they know at a joyful event. I loved doing this wedding. It was a great way to finish off the year.
